Summary of Benefits (Midsummer)
CORE:
- Competitive salaries which are regularly reviewed
- Employees joining us from April 2007 are eligible to join the
Career Averaged Revalued Earnings (CARE) pension scheme - which is
a defined benefit scheme with the Social Housing Pension Scheme
(SHPS) administered by The Pensions Trust. Midsummer currently
contributes 12.3% and employees between 4.7% and 8.4% dependant on
age. Membership includes 3 times salary death-in-service benefit.
New recruits who are already in the final salary scheme with SHPS
can remain in the final salary scheme with us.
- Initial holiday entitlement of 23 days rising by one day
a year up to 26 days, plus bank holidays and one extra day each
year to be taken on a specified day - usually around
Christmas.
- A range of allowances are offered to staff who use their car on
company business and for some posts a car or car allowance is
provided.
- We operate a no-smoking policy in our offices.
- Eyecare vouchers are issued to all employees whose work
regularly involves them using computers.
- After passing your probationary period, you would be entitled
to free membership of Midsummer's private healthcare scheme. You
have the option of including cover for your partner and/or children
at your own expense.
