Residents of St John's Close, Hayling Island turned out in force
yesterday to take part in a community scheme, aimed at tidying up
and improving their local street.

Moyne Close came first in the Brighton and Hove City in Bloom
and won first place in the prestigious Community Award. This is a
new category and recognises not just the floral displays but also
all that the community does throughout the year.

there could be a record being set in the housing world

Thursday the 7th of August 2008. Residents at Avondown House, an
Extra Care Scheme in Bath, held a tea-party in the presence of the
Lord Mayor of Bath to celebrate the completion of a major bathroom
refurbishment project.

For 3 days at the beginning of August ten young people aged
12-16 from the Alfreton area took on the Long Way Home cycling
challenge by riding 150 miles through Derbyshire and
Nottinghamshire

The Guinness Trust were among a numer of Housing Associations in
Sussex who are supporting the Football Inclusion project.
