Mr Peter Cotton

Peter Cotton is Chair of Guinness Care and Support board and a member of The Guinness Partnership Board. He has worked in several industries including electronic publishing and railways and is also a former non executive director of Eurostar. He is a volunteer and Ambassador for Florence Nightingale Hospice.

Ms Catherine Elliott

Catherine has a degree in English and French and is a qualified solicitor. She practised in the City of London and in Bristol, where she was a Partner and Head of Property Finance in a large corporate law firm.

Dr. Claire Feehily

Between 1984 and 2001 Claire worked as an accountant and latterly as a senior social care manager in local government. She worked at four London Boroughs and at Essex County Council.

Ms Penny Hayes

Penny spent most of her career in retail, with Marks & Spencer plc. When she left in 1999 she was a senior manager in the Personnel Group with responsibility for European personnel systems and the UK’s payroll.

Ms Jane Herbert

Mr Jeremy Robinson, BA (Hons)

Jeremy was for 33 years a solicitor practicing with a leading Devon firm. He retired in 2001 as senior partner and for a further five years worked as a consultant, running an office in Budleigh Salterton.

Mr Simon Sweetinburgh

Simon has more than 25 years experience within the Social Housing sector, including 15 years at Executive Director level and 10 years of Board Member experience.

Dame Clare Tickell

Dame Clare Tickell joined the GCS Board in April 2011, having joined the Partnership Board in 2010.

Mr Paul Watson MBE

Paul has more than 25 years experience in housing, care and support and joined Guinness Care and Support in December 2007 as the new MD following the amalgamation of companies to create the larger GCS.
