Boards and governance

The Guinness Partnership has clear governance arrangements to ensure that our organisation is well run, that we manage our resources effectively and that we minimise risk.

The Partnership Board has responsibility for strategy, finance and governance. It comprises 12 non-executive members including a customer representative as well as people with a wide range of legal, commercial and housing skills. Our resident Board members, provide a full appreciation of how well we are doing and how we can continue to improve our homes and services in the future. Much of the Board’s work is done by specialist sub-committees, including:

  • Group Audit and Risk committee
  • Group Governance committee
  • The Customer Strategy Group

Our regulator, the Tenant Services Authority (TSA), tells us that we meet their governance standards, something that we take very seriously. The Guinness Partnership is proud to have HRH The Prince of Wales as Patron and the Marchioness of Douro as President.
