The Guinness Partnership Ltd is a charitable Community Benefit Society No. 31693R registered in England and is a Registered Provider of Social Housing No. 4729.

Our registered office is 30 Brock Street, Regent’s Place, London NW1 3FG.

The Guinness Partnership Limited has the following subsidiaries: Guinness Care & Support Ltd, The Guinness Housing Association Ltd, Guinness Developments Ltd, City Response Limited (trading as Guinness Property) and Guinness Homes Limited.

Guinness Care and Support Limited

Guinness Care and Support (GCS) is a separate subsidiary company, providing care and support services across the country. GCS has the following subsidiaries: Live Well at Home Limited (LWAH), Independent Home Life Services Limited and Kylemore Care Services Limited. GCS is also the corporate trustee of The Devon Sheltered Homes Trust.

Guinness Housing Association Limited

The Guinness Housing Association Limited is a Community Benefit Society No 17017R registered in England and is a Registered Provider of Social Housing No L2441.

Guinness Homes Limited

Guinness Homes Limited is a non-charitable subsidiary for building and managing homes for market rent.

Guinness Developments Limited

Established in July 2003, Guinness Developments Limited (GDL) develops homes for private sale and acts as design and build contractor of social housing for The Guinness Partnership Ltd.

City Response Limited

In November 2015, Guinness Property became the trading name for City Response Limited (CRL), a wholly-owned subsidiary of The Guinness Partnership. It currently has bases in Oldham, Chesterfield, Milton Keynes, Havant, Middlesbrough, Bristol and Exeter.

Guinness Property provides repairs, maintenance, gas servicing and refurbishment services for The Guinness Partnership.

Regulation

The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) and the Care Quality Commission (CQC) regulate us. We have the highest governance (G1) and viability (V1) ratings from the HCA.

We’re subject to the Charities Act 2011, including the obligation to prove that our aims are for public benefit. Our Board is satisfied that we create social and financial opportunities to benefit our customers and those in their neighbourhoods. This is through the provision of affordable housing, care and support services, and investment in our communities.
