Sponge Bob Square Pants comes to Saltash
07 December 2011
On November 5th 2011, young people involved in a Dreamscheme project came together to paint a 30 ft mural on the disused site which they had cleared of rubbish and weeds earlier in the summer.
Mural artist Paul Dorrington was on hand to help the young people create their very own mural based on something that was important to them. The youngsters came up with suggestions of Winnie the Pooh, The Tamar Bridge, A penguin, a clown and a big top and Sponge Bob Square Pants.
They spent over 3 hours painting the mural with help from Guinness staff, Maureen Cunningham and Jill O’Sullivan, and PSCO Mary Wells from Saltash Police Station.
The youngsters had a great day painting and getting messy and everyone was thrilled with the colourful creation!
