Get into work

Do you need help finding a job, apprenticeship or a volunteering opportunity?  Do you want to start or develop your own business?  There's lots of advice and support on these links:

Jobs

If you're looking for a job, why not consider working for The Guinness Partnership?  View our current vacancies.

No matter where you live, the Jobcentre Plus website may have the job for you.

The JobCentre Plus Work Clubs can help you if you're looking for work, because you can join one and make the most of the local knowledge that's available.

Apprenticeships

In some parts of the country, The Guinness Partnership hosts apprenticeships through partner organisations.  If you live in the North of England you may find an apprenticeship with Upturn Enterprise.

If you're interested in an apprenticeship in any part of the country, you can search for an opportunity either by keyword or location on the National Apprenticeship Service website.

If you have any questions about apprenticeships, you may find the answer to your question in the questions and answers section of the National Apprenticeship Service website.

Volunteering

Volunteering can also help you improve your chances of finding work.  Work Together is another service from JobCentre Plus to help you improve the skills you already have, learn new skills and build your self confidence.

Self employment

Do you want to be your own boss?  Whether you want to become self-employed or set up a business, you can get help and advice from Enterprise Clubs
