Frances plans to boost the success of her writing business with an Aspire Award.
Climbing the career ladder
Frances used her award to enrol on courses for managing the project cycle and project proposal writing, and monitoring and evaluation.
“The Aspire Awards give you the push you need to get where you want to be and say ‘You can do it’. I’m definitely feeling good about the future.”
Translating hard work into success
Frances has worked as a freelance editor in international development. She’s been translating subtitles into English for overseas charities in countries like Bangladesh and Fiji.
She hopes to add project proposal writing to her skills, so she can help organisations plan campaigns and activities, from initial ideas through to launch.

You can apply for an award by completing an application form. You’ll need to let us know exactly what you want the funding for, so make sure you’ve found the course you want to complete, how much the equipment you need will be, or what your community project will cost.
