We’ve changed the way we let our homes.
If you’re under 55 and wish to apply for a home with us, you’ll need to contact your local council and apply directly with them.
You’re eligible to apply with the council if you:
- are over 18
- have the right to live in the UK
- currently live in the UK, Channel Islands, the Isle of Man or the Republic of Ireland
- can’t afford to rent a home privately or buy your own home
- are 16 or 17 years old and have a trustee
- are from the European Economic Area (EEA) and are working or have the money to be self-sufficient.
If you’re over 55 and wish to apply for one of our age restricted rental properties (some schemes have a lower age limit of 50 and above) you can apply by completing an application form[pdf] and emailing it back to us at email@example.com.
If you complete your form online, you’ll need to enter codes for the areas you wish to live. The codes should be used in the following way: For example, if you chose Wakefield (816), you’d be considered for any area that sits underneath that code and starts with 816. If you only want Hemsworth, you’d use code 8162 and would only be considered for that particular area. Some codes may not have areas underneath, e.g Bromley (730) – this is normally because we only have small stock in that area.
Alternatively you can give our applications team a call on 0303 123 1890 (option 5) and we can complete your application over the phone. Our friendly team are around 9am–12pm, Monday to Friday.
