Your Questions
I am finding it difficult to live at home - how can
Guinness help?
We recognise that older people want to maintain their
independence and be able to access care and support in their homes.
Guinness Care and Support is committed to providing this. We will
facilitate the provision of further services to maximise residents'
quality of life. A move to a Guinness scheme will ensure security
and promote independence whist providing companionship leading to a
sense of well-being.
We have a mixture of Sheltered Housing Schemes, Alarm Service
Only Schemes, Extra Care Schemes and a Residential Care Home.
We also have two Foyer Schemes for younger people who require
support.
We are accredited by 7 local authorities and have been
accredited by the Centre for Sheltered Housing Studies Code of
Practice (CSHS), a leading authority on standards for Sheltered
Housing.
