Our home improvement agencies provide a range of services that enable older and disabled people to maintain their independence. These services include:

  • Major adaptations such as stairlifts and access showers
  • Help and advice with repairs to your home
  • Help to maximise your income
  • Gardening
  • A home from hospital service

These agencies have local sources of funding and offer slightly different services. They nonetheless share a common approach.

Our aims and approach

Our goal is to work with you, to understand what you need in order to stay in your home and to help you find the appropriate funding and services.

Our first step is to listen to listen to you, to identify your problems and to find solutions. We can talk over the phone or visit you in your home. We will tell you what your options are and what funding you might be entitled to.

We have a list of approved contractors and can supervise their work for you. We offer support before, during and after the works and we can liaise with other organizations on your behalf.
