About Part-Buy, Part-Rent Schemes

Part-Buy, Part-Rent also known as Shared Ownership, is a form of low cost home ownership where the purchaser part owns and part rents their home. The scheme is designed to help people who cannot afford to purchase a house outright and is an opportunity to get on the home ownership ladder.

There are new-build shared ownership homes and there are re-sale shared ownership homes:

New-build shared ownership homes
Midsummer Housing Association, who are part of The Guinness Partnership, now provide the sales service for our new-build shared ownership homes.
