Tackling Anti-Social Behaviour

Tackling ASB

Anti social behaviour can range from annoying things such as rubbish dumping or playing music too loudly to serious criminal activity such as drug dealing, domestic violence or vandalism. We have special procedures for dealing with domestic violence. If you need advice on this issue please contact your Housing Officer

We believe that everyone has the right to live the way they want to as long as it doesn't spoil the quality of life of others. This means being tolerant, accepting and respecting the needs and choices of other people.

We want to make our estates peaceful and secure places to live. We will do this by working withy residents and other agencies to:

• Take action to stop anti social behaviour and harassment of any kind.

• Respond to complaints quickly and in an efficient sensitive and consistent manner

• Offer support to the complainant and take appropriate action against those responsible.

If you are experiencing anti social behaviour click on Tackling anti social behaviour and harassment summary for information about what will be done.
