Pay your rent

There are many different ways for you to pay your rent.

  • Direct Debit from your bank account
  • Online – visit www.allpay.net
  • At any post office by cash, cheque or debit card
  • Using your payment card, if you have one, at a PayPoint
  • Bank standing order
  • Bank giro credit forms
  • Cheque or postal order at the local or area office
  • Direct housing benefit payments from the Council
  • By phone using a debit card and having your payment reference number to hand – 0870 243 6040

You can ask for a ‘mini statement’ at any time. This will show the rent due, any monies received in the past few weeks and whether your account is clear, behind or in advance.

Every three months we automatically send you a statement showing all the rent due and paid in the previous thirteen weeks.

Please keep receipts for the rent payments you make so that, if there are any issues, you will be able to show the payments you have made.

We recommend paying by Direct Debit as it is the simplest way to pay. There is a Direct Debit guarantee scheme in place that offers additional protection not offered by other payment methods.
