Emergency repairs

If you believe your repair is an emergency it is important that you report it by calling us, as quickly as possible.

How will my emergency repair be fixed?

Our contractor will attend to make safe the repair within 24 hours. You may not be offered an appointment, as they will fit this in between their normal work. This means that you or someone over the age of 18 must be ready to stay in the property for up to 24 hours to allow the contractor in.

What if I can smell gas?

Reporting a repair

When you report a repair it helps us if you tell us:

  • Your name
  • Your full address including postcode
  • Your phone number
  • What the repair is (for example plumbing, electrical) and where exactly the fault is

You will be given a reference number for the repair which you should note and use it if you make any further enquiries about the repair.

Please be aware that all calls to the Repairs Desk are recorded.
