What is anti-social behaviour?

Anti-social behaviour (ASB) ranges from low level nuisance such as noisy music and inconsiderate car parking to serious harassment and domestic abuse.

Examples of ASB

  • Noise – playing loud music, frequent parties, very loud television, banging doors, persistent car and burglar alarms
  • Vehicle nuisance such as dangerous driving, repairing vehicles in residential areas, inconsiderate parking and abandoned cars
  • Property damage such as graffiti, vandalism, broken windows and fences
  • Litter and dumped items such as sofas and fridges
  • Nuisance from pets such as noise or bad smells, dog mess and dogs roaming, fighting or biting people
  • Untidy gardens
  • Lifestyle clashes
  • Verbal and physical abuse or intimidation
  • Racial or sexual harassment
  • Harassment based on someone’s age
  • Criminal behaviour such as drug dealing from one of our properties
  • Violence
  • Hate crimes
  • Domestic abuse  

We need you to

  • Contact us as soon as possible after the incident and tell us what happened. We have arrangements in place for reporting incidents 24 hours a day
  • Record details of any further incidents using the incident log we will give you
  • Encourage any other witnesses to contact us
