Action teams

Aim:

To work with Guinness South staff to look at how we deliver our service in each of the following areas:
• Asset Management (including repairs, estate management and planned maintenance)
• Neighbourhoods (including anti-social behaviour, rents and service charges)
• Home Ownership (including leasehold and shared ownership)
• Care and Support (including sheltered housing)

We also have Action Teams looking at how we are ensuring that the services we deliver incorporate:
• Value for money
• Equality and Diversity

We have a regional Asset Management Review Team in each of our four regions looking at repairs, estate management and planned works at a regional level.

When:

The Action Teams and the Asset Management Review Teams meet quarterly.

How:

The Action Teams will be formed of residents from throughout Guinness South to ensure they are geographically representative and each Action Team will include different residents to ensure that we can get a good cross-section of opinion. The four Asset Management Review Teams will be formed of residents from our four regions.

Membership of the Action Teams is through an application process and there is a maximum of eight residents per Team. The Asset Management Review Teams are likely to be larger with around 15 residents in each region. Once an Action Team/Review Team is full, we will operate a waiting list and when places become available, they will be advertised, first to those on the waiting list and then to all residents.

The Action/Review Teams will review and monitor how we are delivering our services and will tell us how the way we deliver our services affects our residents.
