We realise that many of our customers would like to do some training or study to help them find work but they are struggling to pay for it.

These awards were set up to help people on their path to a new career and last year we awarded a total of £18,000 to 12 residents to pay for things like course fees, books and other materials.

The awards are not designed to replace or supplement any national funding such as the Student Loan scheme for people studying degree courses.

This year's Education Awards have now taken place, but details of the next Awards will be published early in 2012.  Please keep an eye on our website and in your resident newsletters for further updates.
