Bourne Mews

Bourne Mews shared ownership houses

Bourne Mews was completed in September 2007 in partnership with Osborne Homes and funded by Tandridge District Council and The Housing Corporation. It is located in the rural village of Godstone, Surrey, close to junction 6 of the M25 and comprises 15 affordable units, 5 of which were sold under the NewBuild HomeBuy scheme.

NewBuild HomeBuy provides a way of owning your own home on a part-buy/part-rent basis. It is a flexible scheme, which matches the share you buy to your income, giving you a smaller mortgage, and a rent you can budget for. For more information on this scheme please click here.

The hot water in Bourne Mews is heated by solarpanels which received a Low Carbons Building Programme grant. Green issues are becoming increasingly important in today's society, and as one of the UK's largest housing associations The Guinness Partnership is committed to taking a lead in developing sustainable homes and communities as we work towards carbon neutral development.
