Freshfield Road, Brighton comprises 22 units of affordable housing with a community facility to be managed by a recently set up community management association. It is a mixed tenure development and includes six desirable two-bedroom apartments which are available for New Build HomeBuy.

In addition to this, the development also boasts two units specifically adapted for wheelchair users as well as a further 2 bed flat to be leased to ASPIRE, an association for Spinal Injury Research Rehabilitation and Reintegration (www.aspire.org.uk). ASPIRE does not receive any statutory funding and relies on voluntary contributions. The flat will be used as a temporary unit to assist people with spinal injuries to learn independent living skills.

The development is due to be completed in June 2008.
