The refurbishment plan
The apartment block now benefits from:
- new kitchens, bathrooms and floor coverings
- a centrally fired gas heating system – significantly reducing energy costs for residents
- double-glazing
- a new feature entrance and car park.
Allan Ramsay, Director of Investment and Commercial said:
“We’re thrilled to be involved in this project, which will create brand new, high-quality homes for affordable rent in a great location.”
The refurbishment works was carried out by our repairs and maintenance contractor, Guinness Properties.
A refurbishment with a difference
In September 2015, Delaney Heights was transformed into an immersive venue for theatre, storytelling and live art.
Domestic II was a one-off trip around a building in transition, with real-life stories performed in the block’s flats and inspired by social issues.
Delaney Heights was mid-renovation, which created a unique atmosphere. One minute, the audience was immersed in a café with audio installations and the next you’re in a flat contemplating space travel.
