Hillbrush, Mere
This scheme is an example of our contribution to meeting rural housing needs and is a small S106 project which provides 9 houses and 4 flats of a traditional appearance, located within a larger housing development that is being developed by C G Fry, who have delivered many homes for Guinness over the years.

The ‘cottage style’ of the houses is reinforced through the use of slightly reduced ceiling heights and joinery-made painted timber canopies. A variety of front doors in differing colours are used in the terraces.
The flats are set within an attractive and quite ‘classical’ looking building. Detailing is excellent with window surrounds having brick quoins and brick arched window heads with reconstructed stone cills. The windows are vertically sliding sash type, enhancing the traditional appearance.
The village of Mere has terrific amenities and is conveniently located close to the A303. The surrounding countryside is picturesque, with the National Trust’s Stourhead Garden a short journey away.
