Stevenage Borough Council are completing a major, 20-year £1bn regeneration programme, designed to redevelop and improve the town’s existing central areas. The redevelopment of the Matalan site has always been part of the Council’s overall vision and we’re delighted to be a part of these ambitious regeneration plans.
The development aims to deliver 526 homes, with a mix of shared ownership and social rent, centred around two communal resident courtyards by 2024. The construction will be completed in two phases, with the demolition of the existing site currently underway (see time lapse video below).
