To the rear of the site is agricultural land. To the south of the site is Topsham Town Athletic Football Club, a small local league football club. It is well connected to commuter links onto the M5 and regular trains to connect to the main line to London and beyond. Located on the Exe Estuary, it is a popular area to live with a range of independent shops, pubs and restaurants. Primary Schools are available within 1 to 2 miles and Secondary Schools about 2 miles
The site is within easy reach of most local village amenities in Topsham about 1 mile distant. Exeter City Centre and main amenities are about 3 miles. A main line railway station is available at Exeter, a local station is available in Topsham and main bus routes pass along Topsham Road.
Outline planning consent was achieved in 2013 for 700 properties and a range of facilities to include primary school, doctors surgery, sports field and pavilion, allotments and open space. This is a large extension to Topsham, and has been master planned by Grange Architects in conjunction with the sites former owners, The Dart Brothers.
We are currently completing the first phase of completion on the development which consists of 40 units, 30 for social rent and 10 for shared ownerships sale . There is a mixture of design styles used for the 2,3 and 4 Bed houses .
We also have another 60 units on this site in the pipeline which will provide more homes for families.
