How is my service charge set?
Most of our homes have variable service charges. We work out the costs of providing the services, and charge you for some of this. We set this every year and send you a breakdown of the costs.
The service charge we set is based on an estimate of the services we’ll provide that year. If it turns out to be too high or too low, we’ll adjust it for the next year.
You’ll get an annual account statement, so you can see how much we collect and how it’s spent.
Some of our homes have fixed service charges. This means we charge a single fixed amount to cover all your services.
