A major milestone at McArthur’s Yard in Bristol

We’re working with The Hill Group to deliver 142 new homes (over 50% of which will be affordable homes), on brownfield land that had stood derelict for over 20 years.   

The ceremony event marked a key moment in the regeneration of the important site and signals the excellent progress being made on the project. The topping out of McArthur’s Yard brings us another step closer to delivering new homes for the people of Bristol, and a new waterfront area development that will enhance this important part of the city. 

The development will provide a range of one, two and three-bedroom homes for shared ownership, market sale and social rent as well as commercial space on the ground floor.   

Bringing value to the community 

McArthur’s Yard also includes a number of important sustainable and lifestyle features, including cycle spaces and electric car charging points and will generate 20% of its energy from renewables.  

The development will also add social value to the local community over the course of the project by bringing employment and supply chain opportunities to the area. Once completed, new street-level commercial units will provide local employment as well as increasing amenities for the community.
