Last week we held our employee Star Awards. It’s a chance to recognise the outstanding work that Guinness employees do every day for our customers.
A record-breaking amount of nominationsStaff nominate their colleagues for all the wonderful things they do; this year we received more than 260 nominations. So our executive team had a tough job on their hands to come up with a shortlist of three, let alone an overall winner, in each of the ten categories.
All our shortlisted staff were invited to a ceremony in Manchester where we heard the stories behind the inspiring nominations and celebrated the finalists. From ‘Newcomer of the Year’ to ‘Long Service Contribution’, we had everything covered!
Our winners came from all around the country and from lots of different teams, so it was a proud moment for everyone to hear why these individuals are such stars.
