Celebrating success at the 2021 Investors in People Awards
13 December 2021
We’re thrilled to announce that at this year’s virtual Investors in People awards ceremony, we won two awards - the Diversity and Inclusion Award and the Leadership and Management Award.
We won the Diversity and Inclusion Award for the work delivering our Diversity & Inclusion Strategy, as well as for the significant work we’ve undertaken to contribute to tackling racism in society. And we won the Leadership and Management Award for our commitment to developing our managers and leaders at Guinness.
Investors in People (IiP) is an international accreditation awarded to organisations that demonstrate a commitment to their employees, and to creating a great workplace experience for everyone – so we are enormously proud to have won both these awards.
We’re particularly proud to have been named winner of the Investors in People Diversity and Inclusion Award for the second year in a row in recognition of our inclusive culture, and the shared commitment to diversity shown by all our colleagues. It’s a very special recognition of our values as an organisation.
Paul Devoy, Investors in People, commented: “The Investors in People Awards 2021 was a record-breaking year in regards to the number of entries and number of organisations entering, so for every organisation that won, your win will taste a little bit sweeter!
“I am so proud of every organisation that entered this year, demonstrating their fantastic commitment to making work better. And as a Winner, The Guinness Partnership really stands out amongst the crowd. A huge well done to all involved!”
Congratulations also to our HR team for being shortlisted in the Best People Team category and our Social Investment team for being shortlisted in the Social Responsibility category – being shortlisted is an outstanding achievement.
