Handmade Wellbeing Project

19 July 2016

Superact, an Exeter-based charity, is running a series of art sessions with our customers at Greenhill’s Residential and Day Care services in Devon.

Our creative commitment to customers

We know that art can help support people to live happy and fulfilled lives. Superact was one of our main contributors at the 2015 event.

We are delighted that Superact is working with us again as part of the Handmade Wellbeing Project over the next few months.

Handmade Wellbeing Project

The Handmade Wellbeing Project is a two-year, European-wide initiative lead by the University of Helsinki. It has been set up to enable artists, educators and craft professionals to work with different target groups in health and social care.

Ursula Billington, Superact project manager said: ‘We will be visiting and listening to older people living in care about how creativity can be best designed for them. Their ideas will be developed in our creative lab.’

Guinness is really excited to be a part of this project, especially as it will help our older customers discover or rediscover their creative potential.
