Karen Stephens is about to embark on a new stage in her career – thanks to a Guinness Aspire Award.

Karen Stephens, Aspire Award winner

Karen, one this year’s 135 Aspire winners, is using her award to continue her life coaching studies and become fully qualified. She wants to set up her own business co-ordinating a network of life coaches who will visit schools and colleges and help young people reach their goals. Karen said:

“I’ve always been interested in my local community and I’ve done lots of volunteering. I feel that the community could benefit from something as powerful as life coaching.”

The Aspire Award will pay for Karen to take Life Coaching Studies Level 3 and 4, as well as paying for her course books.

“Getting the award has meant so much to me. I was ecstatic at the news. I wouldn’t have been able to afford the training otherwise. Just to be accepted for an Aspire Award has been such a great boost for my self-esteem and confidence.”
