The best part of my job is the variety, the people I work with and making a real difference for the customers we serve. And having some fun along the way! 

I joined Guinness 26 years ago and my role continues to evolve and change in response to the external political, economical and technological environment. I have such a high level of job satisfaction.

Guinness is a large organisation with a mix of people and backgrounds but there is a strong Guinness ethos of great homes, great services and a great place to work. Career opportunities are great in all areas of the business – especially if you have the right attitude and commitment. Many of my colleagues are also my friends and there are a whole range of social and sporting activities for people to get involved in.

I’ve attended numerous training courses while at Guinness. Most recently I completed a leadership development programme at the prestigious Henley Business School. Other benefits include good annual leave, additional days off for long service, great pension scheme and an Employee Assistance Programme.

The original donation of £250,000 by Sir Edward Guinness to establish the Guinness Trust in 1890 would be worth £25 million in today’s money!
