The Guinness Partnership is taking part in the government’s Voluntary Right to Buy (VRtB) pilot in the Midlands, meaning tenants in this area may be able to buy their home at a discounted rate.
Applications for the government ballot have now closed.
If you have been successful in the ballot
You will receive your Unique Reference Number (URN) from the government if you have been successful. We will be in touch shortly to discuss what to do next.
If you have received your URN and have not heard from us, please call us on 0303 123 1890 and press the option for Homeowner Services.
Even if you are allocated a URN, it does not guarantee you will be able to buy your home. This depends on your eligibility, your home and its affordability to you.
You can see full details of the Midlands Voluntary Right to Buy Pilot Scheme on the government’s Voluntary Right to Buy website.
Support when completing your application
Right to Buy Agents provide a free, impartial source of information funded by the Government. You can phone them on 0300 123 0913 or contact them via their website www.righttobuy.gov.uk/agent-service
You can also read Guinness’s Voluntary Right to Buy policy.
The URN will be valid for four weeks after you receive it from the government. You must submit your VRtB application to Guinness within that four week period, otherwise your URN will expire and you will not be able to apply.
