The Guinness Partnership provides homes for over 140,000 people across England.

We want every customer to live in a home that meets their needs, and we know these needs change over time.

Your Choice is a new way of working that we are currently piloting in the North West for customers who wish to transfer home.

Properties available for transfers will be advertised on Your Choice for customers to bid on.

Customers looking for properties in other areas should call the Application Advice Team to discuss their needs on 0303 123 1890 and select option 5.

We offer approximately 15-20% of our properties to our existing customers and the remaining are offered through the local authority via our nomination agreements.

You need to have a reason to move, for example if your current home is:

  • too big
  • too small
  • not suited to your medical needs
  • unaffordable due to welfare reform;
  • or you need to move closer to work or family

If you need to move urgently due to threat to life or other exceptional circumstances, which you have not already told us about, please contact your customer liaison officer who may refer you to the applications team for an urgent move.

Important 

These homes are only available to existing Guinness customers who have a specific reason to move, such as those listed above. You must also have been a Guinness customer for more than 12 months.

If you’re not a Guinness customer you will need to get in touch with your local authority for help finding a home.

Available properties will be updated three times a week during the pilot.

Properties will be updated at 10am on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

We will assess all bids received on these days.
